Recreational Gymnastics

AIM recreation gymnastic program is designed for children who wish to explore the sport of gymnastics, who wish to eventually compete in it, who wish to use the skills acquired in another sport, dance, or theater, or who simply want to participate because it is fun!
Our class programs are separated into two sections—
Tot Gymnastics for children ages 8 months to 5 year old which are held in smaller Totland gym and classes for children ages 5 and up which are held in the bigger gym.
Classes are on a monthly billing cycle with your commitment being month-to-month or a full year commitment.
When your child is placed in the appropriate section, a staff member evaluates and places them in a developmentally appropriate class which ranges from beginner to advanced.  Evaluations and placements are ongoing throughout the year with movement between levels available as long as there is room in the desired class.

Tumbling

While at AIM we believe wholeheartedly that gymnastics is a great sport in which to participate on a non-competitive basis, we also see a great benefit from girls having the opportunity to participate in a team environment if that is of interest to them. Our philosophy at AIM is that ALL children who wish to participate on the team will be given an opportunity to train and compete in a group appropriate to their skill level, age and the number of hours that they are willing to train.

Urban Gym

Look for an option other than gymnastics? Try out our Urban Gym class! Learn how to run and flip off a wall, jump from heights to a tuck and roll, get stronger and develop quicker reflex and decision making. Urban Gym is our fusion of parkour and gymnastics. Urban Gym is a sport of moving fast and fluidly through and over obstacles, typically by running, jumping and climbing. This class will build muscles, stamina, as well as teach students to problem solve quickly.

AIM Cheer

We are ready to YELL it out to Moses Lake that AIM is introducing it’s newest program into our community! Your child will learn cheerleading techniques such as short chants, arm motions, jumps, kicks, and stunting techniques. Students are also taught performance cheer that combines movement to music, stunting and tumbling for our facility fun meet along with community events. Cheerleading is a TEAM-ORIENTED sport and we encourage students to demonstrate teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication to being part of the team while participating in our program. At this time, we are not a competitive group but will work towards this goal in the future.
